Terms of Service & User Agreement
Last Updated: January 1, 2026 • Effective Date: January 1, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using remodeling.servicefind.center (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform or request project matching services.
2. Nature of Platform & Independent Contractor Status
ServiceFind Center operates as an independent matching clearinghouse connecting homeowners with licensed, independent general contractors and trade subcontractors. While we verify contractor licensure, insurance certificates, and commercial references at the time of onboarding, contractors are independent business entities. ServiceFind Center is not an employer, general partner, or joint venturer with any contractor.
3. Fair Quote Policy & Pricing Estimates
All price calculations, cost calculators, and estimate ranges displayed on this website represent statistical approximations based on regional historical data, material costs, and prevailing licensed labor wage rates. A binding contract price is established solely through the direct written contract executed between the property owner and the licensed contractor following an in-person site assessment.
4. Homeowner Responsibilities
Property owners are responsible for: (a) accurately representing ownership rights and project site access; (b) reviewing and executing standard AIA or state-mandated residential remodeling contracts; (c) ensuring compliance with local HOA bylaws; and (d) maintaining property hazard and homeowner insurance during the course of construction.
5. Limitation of Liability & Dispute Resolution
In no event shall ServiceFind Center, its directors, officers, or affiliates be liable for indirect, punitive, special, or consequential damages arising out of contractor workmanship, site property damage, project delays, or material defects. Any legal dispute shall be resolved through binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) in accordance with the Federal Arbitration Act.
